Bible Study Basics: Each Meeting Goes Like This: #1 Prayer - Short prayer before we begin (John 16:13 - But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full truth) inviting the Holy Spirit to help us and guide us. #2 Lesson - 20-25 minutes, we mostly use the inductive Bible Study method; book by book, carefully reading a chapter & extracting its meaning from the individual verses. Then, I'll read a passage, talk about its meaning, then open the lines and ask you to join in and discuss with a question or comment to get at the crucial issues raised by scripture. Others, as they are led, join in. By dividing the Word rightly we receive the pure meaning and understanding. (2 Timothy 2:15) #3 Each lesson should fulfill 3 Questions: 1) What does the passage say? 2) What does it mean? 3) What does it mean to me? (how can I apply it personally in real life situations?) #4 Purpose - We want the Bible Study to help you build a closer relationship with the Lord; experience a feeling of community with others; be a part of an active participation with the body of Christ by sharing insights, interpretation of verses being studied with a lively discussion and then leaving the group feeling warm, strengthened with a sense of bonding. #5 Closing short prayer - Continue to reflect on what we've studied & how it applies to what is going on in your life. Studying together is a powerful way for God to talk to us about the 'here & now.'

We all meet on Thursday of every week at 5 PM Pacific/ 8PM Eastern. I open the meeting with a chapter from the Bible, and as we walk through it together I share with you what I feel God is saying, not only for then, but for us today. Then, I open up the lines and one by one we dialogue, share, brainstorm and allow God to move through the heart of the group creating an experience of openness, honesty and wonderful feedback as we learn together. We encourage atmosphere where we’re comfortable to communicate and connect, get clarity and discernment on the Word as we allow the Holy Spirit to lead us into truth. We submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit and to one another so we can get at the heart of what God is saying to us and connect with what truly matters so we can receive the answers and clarity God desires for us. Because the important thing here is, understanding God's word, growing in Christ and growing closer to one another.
